LAHORE, Aug. 8 While greeting the nation on the occasion of Eidul Fitr, Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Syed Munawar Hasan, has urged the well off to share their riches with the less fortunate brethren around them.
In his message, he said that Eid was the occasion to share the pleasures and happiness, promoting mutual love and brotherhood, and expressing sympathies for the others. In order to feel the pleasures of Eid , we should extend every help to the poor, the destitute and the deprived people who went without the basic needs for their small children.
On the occasion f Edul Fitr, he said that the nation should pray for the progress and prosperity of the country, the solution f the problems of the Muslim Ummah and unity of the Ummah.
He also appealed to the masses to keep in mind the oppressed Muslims in Kashmir, Palestine, Burma, and Bangladesh on this occasion.
The JI Ameer reminded the nation of the primary objective of the creation of Pakistan and the pledge it had made to Allah Almighty at the time of independence. He said, it was the Sunnah of Allah Almighty to withdraw its blessings from the people who did not value these. Pakistan, he said, was a great divine blessing for the Muslims of Indo Pakistan sub continent but we had failed to enforce the Islamic system in the country during the last 65 years. Therefore, he said, the nation must seek forgiveness from our Creator for our past lapses in this regard, and rise with a renewed determination to achieve this goal.
